The peninsula of Pelion hosts some of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. Pelion Mylopotamos beach
Milopotamos is a white pebbled beach, with exotic crystal water of unique beauty. It is divided by rocks into two sections with a snaky path leading from one part to another. Pine trees are shadowing the path leading to this beautiful beach. Above the beach there is a beach bar and few lovely taverns. The road to Mylopotamos passes through the village of Tsagarada, eastern Pelion
Damouchari Beach Pelion
This lovely natural little port situated on the eastern coast of Pelion can be reached by boat from Agios Ioannis and Mylopotamos & Skiatho or by foot from the road coming from Tsagarada or via the magnificent gorge of Mouressi.
Damouchari is extremely beautiful and particularly peaceful, and has the advantage of not yet being invaded by tourists. There, one can enjoy a calm and dreamy stay at one of the two pebbled little beaches with amazing blue-green water, visit the remains of a tower, see the little shops on the coast or admire the beautiful olive grove starting from the sea and ending up the mountain.
Katigiorgis Pelion, Greece
Katigiorgis is a small fishing place on the southern side of Pelion. Surrounded by lush greenery and low hills, Katigiorgis has delicious fish taverns and few accommodations. The beach is small but clean and gives nice view to the Aegean Sea. In a close distance from Katigiorgis, there is a horse farm that offers nice horse rides in the beautiful nature. Can be reached by boat from Skiathos.This small beach settlement is located 68 km south east of Volos and about 10 km from Platanias. Other beaches close to Katigiorgis are Theotokos, Lyri, Vromoneri and Mourtias.
Platanias Beach Pelion:
The fishing village of Platanias lies in front of the stunning long stretched beach of Platanias. This stunning golden sandy beach is ideal for a peaceful swim, surrounded by pebbles. Near the beach there is a camping site and the little port offers regular connections to Skiathos island in summer. From there, a coastal path leads to the astonishing sandy Mikro beach with crystal clear waters.
